The lines on this site that ring truest were mostly written by a labor journalist named Mike Quin, who died in 1947 — and whom most people have never heard of. That’s fine. You don’t have to know who he was to feel that he was right. He wrote plainly and fiercely for working people, and the words still land on a 2026 morning.
